UMass Computer Lab

Located on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus, this modern academic building pairs striking contemporary architecture — a dark metal-clad tower alongside a lighter, glass-fronted wing — with newly landscaped grounds designed for student life. Developed for the University of Massachusetts Amherst with landscape architecture by Crowley Cottrell, the site features winding walkways, layered plantings, and freshly established shade trees that soften the building's modern lines. Tree Staple handled the planting for the project, providing the anchoring system for the trees and landscaping that bring the campus grounds to life.
